The Grifo XS Clincher is one of the last handmade tires. It is designed for hard-packed cyclo cross courses, but works well for riders who ride both on pavement and on dirt and crushed-stone trails. Though they are expensive, nothing will give the supple ride and low rolling resistance of good hand made tires. -All Challenge tires are completely hand-made. -Tread is glued onto fully-inflated casing to achieve a neutral tread state when tires are in use -Casing fabric is woven from thread spun at the Challenge manufacturing facility -Reinforced polyester casing provides added resistance to moisture damage -260tpi reinforced polyester casing for excellent moisture resistance and durability -Anti-puncture strip included in tire casing -Recommended pressure range: 30-90psi -Challenge tires tend to be 1-2mm wider than the stated size.
