These hubs are made by a Taiwanese company primarily for European commuter and city bikes. As far as we know, VO is the only US importer. They have a little more resistance than the Shimano or Son dynamo hubs, but then they only cost $50. Their reliability, quality and weather resistance are excellent. Like most dynamos, they generate 3w at 6V and so work with almost any dynamo headlight and taillight. They include a nice VO internal cam quick release skewer and wire with plug. 36-hole only. |
