Ostrich Handlebar Bag, New style

This handlebar bag is quite large, but it is not tall, rather it is deep front to back. This makes getting things out very easy. The elastic closures are simply the best system I've ever used. There are plastic stiffeners in the sides and bottom, so the bag is quite rigid.

I have no problem opening the forward facing flap while riding. I was worried about that, but it's a non-issue. The only other flaw is a lack of a rack strap in back, but there is a strap on the bottom. The newest version of the bag do not have the grid imprinted on the map cover, which is makes it much easier to read the map.

The handlebar bag is 260mm, wide 220mm tall, and 200mm deep with a capacity of 12.4 lt. This is big bag, with more capacity than a large size Berthoud bag.

Ostrich bags are made in Japan by an old and established company. They are superbly made and very sturdy. Yet they are not heavy. This is due to limited use of leather and metal. There are numerous well thought out features in Ostrich handlebar bags as you would expect on a bag that's been made for over 50 years.

These are the new-style bags with an extra strap at the rear to go over the rack loop, a bottom strap, and a clear map cover. We'll update the photos soon.
